Updated Information:  Chapter 24 - Covers and Fairings

Ever wanted to own your own plane?  Want to be able to travel when you want to and not when tickets get cheap?  Want to avoid the crowded airports and uncomfortable seating?  Want to be able to get places faster than by car?  So did we!  Just seems that you have to get something made in the 60's to afford it.  So we found the Cozy Mark IV, a modern plane with higher efficiency and better economy and knew this was the plane for us.  There's just a "bit" of assembly required.  This website documents our family's build of a Cozy Mark IV, plans #1686.  Our hope is that this website will provide a lot of useful information for those thinking of building and for those that are in the process of building.  This site was especially developed for those that are new to aviation (as I am) and will hopefully help you get up to speed on information.  Use the links above (some have extra menus within them) to navigate the site.

This site will be evolving as the build process continues, so lots of things will probably change from time to time.  To make it easier, I've added a Last Updated above with info on the updated areas.
