Cozy Mk IV Project For Sale - Near Portland, OR
SOLD!!
$8,000 for 3-bladed pusher composite CS prop, 68" diameter, Continental hub
NOTE: The Cozy has been sold. I'm keeping the page up for reference. The CS prop is still available though.
I am assisting with the sale of Al Wick's Cozy Mark IV. Al has moved on to a different path in life and no longer is flying. The aircraft was mostly built to plans specs with the following exceptions:
The plane is being sold as a project in As Is condition. There is no longer an engine installed but the plane does have cowlings which still match the original cowlings. Engine mount points are to plans as well. Registration has expired and the N-number is no longer valid. There was a fuel tank leak on both sides. I believe the pilot side has been fixed but needs to be checked. Passenger side may still have a problem. A fuel tank pressure test would be heavily advised. The strakes will need some profiling and painting from previous repairs and from lost filler. A full inspection by a reputable canard member is also advised which I can give out the names to people that are able to do so. While there is some work invovled, the plane could have the new owner up and running in much shorter time than building would allow. I thought about it myself, but it didn't seem right to throw out all the hard work that I have already done on my project.
Equipment List
If you are interested in the project, please contact me with the contact form on the Home page of my site. Thanks!
